PhD synthetic organic chemist · NYU · NSF GRFP fellow

PhD chemist building conviction at the intersection of science and capital.

Elliot is a PhD candidate in chemistry with experience in venture incubation, industry R&D, project management, and cross-functional collaboration. He has demonstrated success applying data-driven analysis, AI predictive modeling, and problem-solving to high-impact scientific and business challenges in fast-paced environments, translating complex data into strategic recommendations.

In his PhD research, Elliot leverages transition metal catalysis to discover new synthetic methodologies to form challenging chemical bonds. These methods are focused on accelerating pharmaceutical drug discovery.

His investment research follows directly from this scientific foundation — with a particular focus on lab automation and closed-loop drug discovery, where his hands-on experience with Schlenk technique, inert atmosphere chemistry, and multi-step organic synthesis gives him firsthand understanding of where robotic systems still fall short.
